Parish Advent Celebration 2019

Our St. Sava Parish celebrated the Advent Season on Sunday, Dec 15, 2019. After lunch, our Church School did an excellent job describing the Nativity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the form of a play. The Church School Students practiced for several weeks and did an excellent job memorizing their lines and parts for the play. A special thanks to Joseph Cannon for taking some time out of his busy college schedule to direct the play and thanks to all the Church School Teachers for doing an excellent job helping in various ways. In addition to having lunch and performing in the play, the children also found time to assemble winter bags for the needy in the community. Last but not least…Sveti Nikola still made time in his busy schedule to stop by for a visit and wished everyone the best during this wonderful Advent Season! “Mir Božiji, Hristos se rodi!”
