2010 Eastern Diocese Day

Consecration of the Most Holy Mother of God Church

St. Sava Camp Shadeland ~ Springboro, PA

August 8

All Churches within travelling distance will be closed to allow the clergy and faithful to join together for this joyous event in the life of the Church. A traditional Serbian picnic will follow and the campers of Tambura/folkore week will present a program of Serbian song and dance for you to enjoy!

Our parish is hosting a bus that will leave the parking lot at 7:00 AM and will return home at 4:00 PM.

There is no charge to ride the bus and there are still seats left – sign up today!

International Village 2010

August 16-20

This is an opportunity to come together in stewardship and fellowship for this very important parish fundraiser. With gratitude for all of the many blessings bestowed upon us, each of us should be willing to donate our time and talents to this event. With the exception of physical or health limitations, none of us should be content to let others do our share of the work. Please ask any parish council member or any of our supporting organizations how you can help!

The Ordination of

Reverend Deacon Christopher Rocknage

To the Holy Priesthood

August 22

His Grace, our Bishop Dr. Mitrophan, will ordain Deacon Christopher during the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy which will begin at 9:45 AM. This is the first time in our parish’s rich history that one of our own will be ordained to the Holy Priesthood! Our parish family will join together to witness the manifestation of the God’s Love and the Grace of the Holy Spirit in our midst. Join us in wishing Deacon Christopher well as he continues to follow God’s calling in His service.
